Biotech R&D

Our dedicated research facility is recognized by Government of India.

Our R&D center has a Doctoral Program (Ph.D) that is registered with Jawarlal Nehru Techonlogoical University, Osmania University, Nagarjuna University and Andhra University.

VBPL also has ongoing collaborative research projects with internationally reputable CSIR labs like Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, National Institutes of Nutrition and University of Michigan, USA.
Pipeline

We have several products under different stages of development that caters to therapeutic areas of Advanced Wound and Burn care, Haemostatis, Oncology, Diabetes, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic and Cardiology.

The focus at Virchow Biotech's R&D is to keep the company's product pipeline active. Over the next few years, this entails

expanding our current projects into newer Research and Development areas each year as well as expanding indications and markets for our current portfolio of products.

Virchow Biotech is filing for U.S.Food and Drug administration’s (FDA) approval for its in house developed advanced wound care products.

Virchow Biotech received Drug control’s (DCGI) approval for conducting clinical trials on periogen, an indigenously developed recombinant therapeutic product for periodontal diseases

Virchow Biotech and Ranbaxy signed an MOU to market Virchow’s indigenously developed recombinant therapeutic protein for osteoporosis treatment. We are the first in the world to launch this biogeneric product
